Dr. Seymanski

As an empathetic and non-judgmental therapist, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and connected to the therapeutic process. I believe that change occurs through the relationship between the therapist and client and if you do not feel safe and secure within your therapy sessions, then change is unlikely to occur in your life. Once a secure relationship is established, true therapeutic work can begin. Engaging in therapy can look and feel like many different things to different people - what is important is that you are getting what you need from this work.

I provide individual therapy to clients, ages 18+. I utilizes aspects of interpersonal, CBT, DBT and feminist perspectives in my treatment. I have completed the Basic Training for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and am currently pursuing the training needed to become a EMDR Certified Therapist. I also utilize Alpha-Stim in my practice, which can be used to treat anxiety, insomnia, and depression.

I provide therapy services to people who experience the following mental health issues including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
  • Developmental Trauma
  • Chronic self-harm or suicidal ideation

I also provide therapy services to people who are experiencing significant stress and change in their lives, this may present as:

  • Grief Counseling
  • Work and Career issues
  • Stress Management
  • Conflict Resolution

I believe that engagement in therapy can be a way to care for the essence, i.e., the heart, soul, spirit, core or fundamental nature, of oneself.
